Adam Clutinger
Adam Clutinger is a musician and teacher from Speedway, Indiana. A 1998 graduate of Butler University, Adam currently teaches music at Sycamore School and North Central High School as also teaches private trumpet lessons. His main instrument is trumpet, but he has also been known to wield guitar, keyboards, or bass. In addition to Charlie’s Pocket, Adam also performs with the Circle City Sidewalk Stompers (www.clownband.com). He enjoys cycling, and spending time with his wife and 4-year old son.

Leigh Epperson Purvis
Leigh graduated in 2005 from Indiana University and received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from IUPUI in 2008. Leigh has been sharing her exceptional vocal talents for over a decade. Though one of the longest tenured members of the evolving band, she is one of the youngest members of Charlie’s Pocket. Leigh provides a youthful exuberance and infectious smile that unquestionably charges the music.

Aaron Goetz
Aaron Goetz was born in Lafayette, Indiana. He performed as a soloist and member of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club under the direction of Brian Breed from 2001 to 2005. In 2002 he performed with the New York Pops under the direction of Skitch Henderson. He produced the 2005 Phenomena production, a rock variety show held annually in West Lafayette Indiana. His performing credits include the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Marvin Hamlisch, the Bach Chorale, Purdue Varsity Glee Club, Indiana Ambassadors, as well as the New York Pops. He has also performed at such venues as Elliot Hall of Music, Forbidden City Concert Hall, Carnegie Hall, Bath Abby, St Andres Cathedral. He has entertained audiences throughout the United States and the world. Three European tours along with tours to the United Kingdom, and China.

Kimble Richardson
Anchoring the rhythm section is drummer and percussionist Kimble Richardson. His musical experiences are varied having played in concert and symphonic bands, percussion ensembles, marching bands (he was section leader in the Marching 100 while at Indiana University) Dixieland and jazz bands as well as several rock bands. He’s a member of the Circle City Sidewalk Stompers (www.clownband.com), traveling around the country and China. Kimble is a licensed mental health counselor, licensed clinical social worker and licensed marriage and family therapist at St. Vincent Stress Center in Indianapolis.

Robert Watt
Rob brings decades of experience to Charlie’s Pocket. While attending college at the University of Illinois, Rob gigged with REO Speedwagon, Thom Bishop, Dan Fogelburg, and others as well as opening for national acts such as Johnny Rivers, Ted Nugent, and Michael McDonald. At home with rock, jazz, blues, country, and classical music, his diverse background aids Charlie’s Pockets variety of musical styles. Physician/Scientist by day, guitarist by night; Rob was born in Springfield, Illinois, and has both Ph.D. and M.D. degrees.

Jim VanSlambrook
Jim fills the pocket literally as the entire horn section. Along with 30 years of experience in dozens of Jazz and R&B bands, he brings his talents to CP on Tenor Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Vibes, and Flugelhorn. Jim is also member of The Circle City Sidewalk Stompers (www.clownband.com) and is a guest performer at the Boggstown Cabaret. He is a USTA Tennis Official at tournaments all over the country, and holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Detroit.

Heidi VanSlambrook
Heidi is a Music Therapy student at IUPUI. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Dayton. She has performed with local and professional theatres including Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, American Cabaret Theatre, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, and Boggstown Cabaret. She loves singing with Charlie's Pocket and enjoys performing with her Dad and the other bandmates.

David Hartman
David's musical career started by playing air-guitar in his friend's living room to the Kiss Alive album. Soon after, he started violin in school so that he could show mom he would stick with learning an instrument. This eventually led to getting a guitar. Throughout high school and college career, David played in various cover bands that ranged in style from Heavy Metal, Hair Metal (c'mon it was the 80's), Country (60/40 country - 60% dead guys 40% live guys), Rock and Pop. While at Ball State, he studied classical guitar and also played in the Ball State Symphony Orchestra. David has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and teaches guitar class and orchestra at Noblesville High School.

Seth Jenkins
Seth has been performing for audiences most of his life and has opened for major acts in various bands. He has also done studio work with Alfons Kettner (co-writer of "What You Won't Do For Love") and legendary producer Joe Vitale. His versatility and talent as a keyboardist bring a great touch to Charlie’s Pocket.
