Charlie’s Pocket is really "Two bands in One". Equally adept at rock/ dance music and at jazz/ dinner music, the band performs a mix of the best cover tunes from classic to current hits, including rock, blues, country and jazz.

Charlie’s Pocket plays great music for dancing or listening and is perfect for weddings, nightclubs & bars, private parties, corporate functions, dinner dances, conventions, country clubs, community events and festivals.

Charlie’s Pocket is celebrating Five Years of making Great Music! The band was founded in February, 2005, after Smokestack Jack and the Medicine Men (SJMM), a popular Indianapolis rock band dating to the late ’90s, performed its final show at Mickey’s Irish Pub in Carmel, Indiana, on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Three members of SJMM, Leigh Epperson Purvis, vocalist, Kimble Richardson, percussionist, and Rob Watt, guitarist, decided to go a new direction.

Professional sound and lighting equipment and technicians, proven able to handle any size venue, are provided by Lil’ Peanut Productions (www.lilpeanutproductions.com), an Indianapolis-based full-service professional sound company.
